They say it takes 10,000 hours to become an expert - and in the case of Parekhs' the family behind SIRES MASTER GOLDSMITHS, you can also add generations of family knowledge.
With a legacy of 5,000 years, the history of Indian jewellery & its artisans has often been quoted as the history of the country itself.
For 2,000 years, India was the sole supplier of gems to the world. It was also the Indians who invented the diamond drill which they taught to the Romans.

One Of the Oldest Generational Jewellery Families in the World, PAREKH is an Indian Heritage surname mainly used in the Hindu states of Gujarat, Rajasthan & Maharastra. It means assayer in Gujarati from the Sanskrit word pariksaka or 'examiner'.
The PAREKH family name has an ancient legacy spanning back to 932 AD over a thousand years, responsible for testing, identifying, & working with precious gems & metals.
They later grew into trading in gemstones, cutting & polishing gems & becoming Artisans in Goldsmithing. They had become entrusted as court jewellers & familiar with the extravagant tastes of the Maharajas (Kings). Fabulously rich & passionate about precious stones, the Indian SIRES stopped at nothing to satisfy their perpetual appetite for jewels. High Ranking British Officers since 1700's used our services and skills as Master Goldsmiths & Signet Ring Makers.
